Hormone and Food Sensitivity Testing
Our office offers several types of hormone and food sensitivity panels with varying types of testing, depending on your needs. We utilize two different testing companies that we trust, to ensure you get the most accurate results. We collect any needed samples in office, or, if necessitated by a specific test, will send you home with all you need to collect samples yourself. They are sent off for testing, and when the results are ready, Dr. Hansen will be able to review them with you at a scheduled appointment. These tests are an excellent step toward understanding what your body may have either a depletion or surplus of, as well as what in your diet could be causing your symptoms.
Female Hormone Testing
Female Hormone Panel
This option measures the active levels of Estradiol (E2) and Progesterone (P), as well as the cycle average of testosterone and DHEA. With the expanded panel option, we also includes FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone) and LH (luteinizing hormone) in order to gain a more complete understanding of what may be contributing to your symptoms.
Post-Menopause Hormone Panel
Gain insight into hormone levels in your post-menopause stat with this single snapshot which gauges amounts of unbound hormone in relation to our reference ranges. This test measures estrone, estradiol, estriol, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA and DHEA-S
Peri-Menopause Hormone Panel
This test compares two samples at different points in the menstrual cycle. Measures 2 readings of estrone, estradiol, estriol, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA and DHEA-S. This test can help determine more accurate dosage for hormone medication you may be on, naturopathic options, and more.

Food Sensitivity Testing
The foods you eat may be impacting your health in more ways than you know
Often times, many symptoms that may seem completely unrelated may actually be correlated to adverse food reactions. When we consider adverse food reactions, we typically think of the extreme such as hives, swelling, or other life threatening reactions such as anaphylactic shock. Though these allergies are easier to identify because of their immediate onset, reactions to food sensitivities are vital to understanding your overall health and symptoms.
Delayed food sensitivities, known as IgG-mediated reactions are sometimes blamed on aging or other environmental factors. Most sufferers are unaware that their symptoms are related to the foods that they are eating.
