Meet Dr. Hansen

Dr Hansen grew up in Magic Valley, and has a deep love and stewardship for his home here. He was raised living in a mortuary owned by his family, where he grew a passion for the intricacies of the human body-becoming familiar with each organ, bone, ligament, and ventricle as he was able to see it first hand. He saw the effect that years of both poor health and healthcare had on each bodily system, from the inside out, and this grew his passion to learn more about wellness and the prevention of the various diseases that brought so many lives to an unnecessarily early end.
Dr. Hansen boasts a total of five doctorate degrees, including ND, DC, DFM, and HMD, as well as NMD which, though not recognized in the state of Idaho, is recognized by all other 49 states. He has been named Americas Doctor of the year for the first time for 2023 by the American Naturopathic Association, as well as Idaho’s Doctor of the Year by the Idaho Chapter of the same association. Though he only opened The Rejuvenate Clinic in 2020, he has been a practicing Chiropractor for over two decades now.
Along with his continued education, Dr. Hansen sits on the Idaho State Board of Chiropractic, and will soon be on the Naturopathic Board as well. He speaks every year in front of the Senate and the House in the Health and Welfare committees, writing statutes and laws pertaining to the practice of Naturopathic Medicine and Chiropractic in Idaho, and recently passing a bill alongside Senator Anthon. He believes that with his knowledge and education, he can and should work from the top down to make Idaho a better place to live, with more autonomy for the individual, and a higher standard of care for each family.

Dr. Hansen understands the value of the health of each family, having a large and diverse family of his own. With 11 children, they are precious gifts that again and again remind him of his motivation to aid in wellness and improve quality of life for each individual who walks through our door. When his oldest son was young, he developed a health concern that led them to several doctors, all of which offered new medications and treatments that only seemed to cause more symptoms themselves. He felt that he wasn’t given the care that he expected for his child, and eventually gave up on seeking answers from the mainstream sources. He found his way to a naturopathic Doctor, and the rest is history. He saw improvement in his sons condition, felt taken care of as a patient, and walked away with a true understanding of what he was dealing with, with more answers than questions. This experience is what opened his world up the world of medicine he practices now, and drove him to become the provider he is today. As a patient, you will often see his family come in and out, helping with and enjoying the family business.
